How it Happened
• With two outs in the top of the first, Mike Smith hit a double left and Chris Festa walked but Saran got Alex Darwiche to pop up to end the inning.
• Drew Tornow took a 0-2 pitch from Ross and hit it to the wall in center for a two-out triple, but Ross got Nick Strausbaugh swinging to end the inning.
• A double, a walk, and back-to-back doubles to open the Fighting Scots' fourth gave them a 3-0 lead. Ross then induced a double play and a groundout to escape the inning giving up just the three runs.
• Wooster held the Blue Jays without a hit until the seventh when Frank Clara singled to center but JHU could not get him around to score.
• The Fighting Scots looked to add a fourth run in the eighth as Dan Harwood singled to center, but Ross got another double play ball to end the inning.
• Mike Eberle led off the top of the ninth with a double to left center field and came around to score on a Clara single, but the one run would be all the Blue Jays would get as Wooster took the game 3-1.
