? The Short Story: In the first official night game at Babb Field at Stromberg Stadium, the Johns Hopkins baseball team came away with an 11-3 win to extend its winning streak to eight games.

How it Happened
? Tim Kutcher led off the bottom of the first with a single and came around to score on a Chris DeGiacomo triple to deep center field. DeGiacomo then came around to score on a Zach Jaffe groundout to make the score 2-0.
? Mike Eberle was hit by a pitch and advanced to second on a Mike Smith single. Both runners advanced 90 feet on a balk and came around to score on an Austin Sacks homer to right which made the score 5-0.
? The Bullets got three runs back in the fifth as Ryan Augusts hit a two-run home run and Matt Szcezesney scored on an error to make the score 5-3 Blue Jays.
? The Johns Hopkins offense put up six runs in the seventh to pull ahead 11-3. Smith walked with the bases loaded to force in a run and Nate Davis laced a double down the left field line to score two Blue Jay runners. Dillon Bowman then hit his third home run of the season, as he took the first pitch he saw over the right-center field wall for a three-run shot.
