Brian Wang won the Loyola Greyhounds Men's Tennis Classic on Sunday.

How it Happened
• The invitational was played as a Points of the Compass draw. At the end of each round, the winners continue their competition in the same direction, while the losers move to a traditional consolation bracket and then to satellite brackets that ensure each team will play four matches. The teams will play an eight-game pro-set doubles match, and the individuals will then face each other in best-of-three formats with the third set played as a super-tiebreaker.
• Wang and Matisse beat Jan Adamac and Pablo Lopez Real of Harford Community College, 3-0. The Blue Jay duo took the doubles point with an easy 6-1 win. In singles, Wang then rallied to defeat Adamac 3-6, 6-0, 1-0 (3) and Matisse beat Lopez Real 6-2, 6-4.
• Juniors
Robby Simon and
Jack Hogan finished in third place with a 2-1 win over Skyler Gates and Luis Bonilla of Loyola. Hopkins took the doubles point with a 7-6 (6) win. In singles, Gates beat Simon 6-4, 6-2 and Hogan bested Bonilla 6-4, 6-3.
• Junior
Erik Yoo and sophomore
Naevin Anukornchaikul topped Edik Pribitkin and Colin Corsini of Loyola, 3-0, o to place fifth. The Blue Jays won 7-5 in doubles to take the first point. Yoo then came from behind to beat Pribitkin 1-6, 6-1, 1-0 (7) while Anukornchaikul cruised to a 6-2, 6-0 win over Corsini.

Aaron Wang and sophomore
Eric Burrer won the consolation draw to place ninth overall. Prabh Bal and Sergui Madesan of Coppin State won the doubles point, 7-6 (6). The Blue Jays responded by winning both singles matches to take the win. Wang beat Bal 6-0, 6-1 and Burrer defeated Madesan 7-5, 6-3. Â Â
