Joe Cartledge of the Johns Hopkins men's tennis team has been named the Centennial Conference Tennis Player of the Week for his performance on Saturday against Salisbury.
Cartledge helped lead the Blue Jays to a 7-2 victory over the Gulls as he partnered with
Austin Gu in first doubles to give Hopkins the first point of the match with an 8-5 victory. He then clinched the victory for JHU with his 6-4, 6-3 win in fourth singles.
Hopkins is back in action on Sunday, March 10 as the Blue Jays will host Washington & Lee. The match is scheduled to start at 12 pm at the JHU Tennis Courts.
