Austin Gu repeats as the Centennial Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week it was announced Monday. This is his fourth honor of the season and fifth of his career.
Gu won both of his matches in a 2-0 week for the Blue Jays. Against Haverford in a match-up of the last two unbeatens in conference play, he and junior
Joe Cartledge won 8-7 (4) at first doubles. Gu then lost just two games in his win at second singles (6-0, 6-2) as the Blue Jays won 7-2.
Hopkins returns to action on Wednesday, April 24 against visiting Washington College. The Centennial Conference match is slated for a 4:00 pm start at the JHU Tennis Courts.
