Nate Davis of the Johns Hopkins baseball team has been named a D3baseball.com Third Team All-American it was announced today. Davis is the first Blue Jay to be named to the team since 2017 (
Conor Reynolds and
Ryan Orgielewicz) and he is the 12
th player overall to be named to the team. Â

Davis was named to the D3baseball.com First Team All-Mid-Atlantic last week as the Ashburn, VA native is currently tied for third in the nation in home runs (16) which is also the second most in program history. Davis is leading the team in homers and slugging percentage (.803) is tied for second in RBIs (44) and ranks third in batting average (.331). The junior currently has 12 multi-hit games this season to go along with a team-high 15 multi-RBIs games this year. He was also named first team All-Centennial this season and earned a spot on the D3baseball.com Team of the Week on April 22.

Davis and the Blue Jays are heading to Cedar Rapids, IA for the Division III College World Series as Hopkins will open up play on Friday, May 31 at 5:30 pm ET against Babson.
