LANCASTER, PA – Johns Hopkins senior Joe Cartledge has been named the Centennial Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week it was announced Tuesday. This is the second weekly conference honor of his career.
 
Cartledge went 2-0 in singles and 2-0 in doubles to lead Hopkins to a pair of wins over nationally-ranked opponents last week. He won 8-7 (5) at first doubles and then prevailed in three sets at third singles in JHU's 8-1 win over #31 Stevens. He followed that with an 8-2 win at first doubles and a 6-2, 6-2 win at third singles in JHU's 7-2 win over #22 Sewanee.
 
Hopkins is back in action on Saturday, February 29 vs. #21 NC Wesleyan in Salisbury, MD.
