Joe Cartledge has been named the Centennial Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week it was announced Tuesday. This is the second weekly conference honor of his career.
Cartledge went 2-0 in singles and 2-0 in doubles to lead Hopkins to a pair of wins over nationally-ranked opponents last week. He won 8-7 (5) at first doubles and then prevailed in three sets at third singles in JHU's 8-1 win over #31 Stevens. He followed that with an 8-2 win at first doubles and a 6-2, 6-2 win at third singles in JHU's 7-2 win over #22 Sewanee.
Hopkins is back in action on Saturday, February 29 vs. #21 NC Wesleyan in Salisbury, MD.
