Jared Pangallozzi has been named the Centennial Conference Track Athlete of the Week for the second time this season. This is the third Centennial Track Runner of the Week honor for the Maplewood, NJ native.
Friday night at the Virginia Challenge in Charlottesville, VA, Pangallozzi dominated a Division I field to win the 10,000 with a time of 29:20.29. Not only was this the fastest time in program history by nearly 45 seconds, the mark shattered a nine-year-old Centennial Conference record by over 25 seconds. Pangallozzi currently holds the top time in Division and his time ranks as one of the 10 best 10,000 performances in Division III history.
The Blue Jays return to competition this weekend in Gettysburg, Pa.
