Jared Pangallozzi and
Alex Glavin will head to Greensboro, NC to represent the Johns Hopkins men's outdoor team at the Division III NCAA Championships. Pangallozzi will return to NCAA's while Glavin will make his first career trip.
Pangallozzi, a senior out of Maplewood, NJ, will compete in both the 5,000 and the 10,000 for JHU. The top-seed in the 10,000, Pangallozzi broke the school and conference record when he defeated a field full of Division I athletes with a time of 29:20.29 at the Virginia Challenge. The senior is in as the 12th-seed in the 5,000 with a time of 14:27.69.
Glavin will compete with Pangallozzi in the 10,000. A graduate student, Glavin has made great use of his fifth-year, qualifying for NCAA's with a time of 29:59.05. Glavin joined Pangallozzi in breaking the school-record and now holds the number two time in program history.
