The Short Story: The sixth-ranked Johns Hopkins men's tennis team jumped out to a 3-0 lead and didn't look back in an 8-1 win at Salisbury Saturday afternoon.

• Sophomores
James and
Thomas Yu gave Hopkins a quick 1-0 lead as they beat Russell Willenborg and Luke McMullen, 8-0, at first doubles. Graduate student
Vishnu Joshi and junior
Alexander Kernagis then beat Gianluca Beaujon and Jhayden Pappas, 8-4, at second. Senior
Brian Wang and freshman
Marco Azar wrapped up the doubles sweep with an 8-5 win over Mitchell Desman and Gavin Reagle at third.
• Joshi did not drop a game in singles as he beat Beaujon at second.
Thomas Yu nearly turned the same trick with a 6-0, 6-1 at first over Willenborg.
James Yu pushed the Blue Jays' lead to 6-0 with a 6-0, 6-2 win over McMullen at third.
• Azar also posted a shutout as he defeated Russell at sixth singles. Junior
Andrew Tran won a tough first set, 7-6, but cruised to a 6-2 win in the second to take the match at fourth over Christopher Catan. Reagle grabbed the lone point of the match for the Sea Gulls with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Wang at fifth.

• Hopkins improves to 13-7 all-time against Salisbury and has won 12 straight in the series.
• Joshi moved into 14
th in school history in career singles wins (46) and is now tied for 23
rd in doubles wins (43)
