Lancaster, PA - Winners of seven straight Centennial Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships, the Johns Hopkins Blue Jays have been picked to win the league once again. The Jays received all eight possible first-place votes, totaling 64 points to sit atop the preseason poll.
Ursinus (56), Dickinson (43), Haverford (42) and McDaniel (35) rounded out the top-five in the poll.
At the 2021 Centennial Championship, the Blue Jays secured golds in seven of 21 events and compiled 217 points to defeat Dickinson by 30 points.
Hopkins finished 15th in the team standings at the NCAA Championships in 2021, led by national champion Jared Pangallozzi.
The Jays will compete outdoors for the first time on March 25 in Raleigh, NC.
