th-ranked Johns Hopkins men's tennis team rallied for a 6-3 win over host Washington College Tuesday afternoon.

How it Happened
• The Shoremen took a 2-1 lead after doubles, but the Blue Jays rallied to win five of the six singles matches to grab the win.
• Sophomore
Thomas Yu and freshman
Marco Azar earned the first point of the match as they beat Brady Burns and Ryohei Kawai, 8-3, at third. Landon Strober and Koby Bonta tied the match with an 8-5 win over graduate student
Vishnu Joshi and junior
Alexander Kernagis at second. Karl Hoegstedt and Andrew Smith then put Washington College on top with an 8-5 win over sophomores
Daniel Ardila and
Rohan Reddy at first.
• Joshi grabbed the first win in singles, beating Kawai 6-3, 6-0 at second to tie the match at two. Ardila pushed the Blue Jays on top as he dropped just two games in his win at fifth over Burns. Azar followed with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Aaradith Ravichandran at sixth.
• Senior
Brian Wang clinched the win for Hopkins with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Bonta at fourth. Junior
Andrew Tran then beat Strober 7-6 (3), 6-2 at third to put JHU up 6-2. Hoegstedt took the lone singles' point for WC with a 4-6, 6-1, 1-0 (8) win at first over Yu.

What it Means
• Hopkins improves to 51-24 all-time against Washington College and wins its 18
th straight over the Shoremen.
• Joshi now has 52 career singles wins and is tied for ninth in program history. He also needs two wins to become the 15
th player in program history with 100 total wins.

• Hopkins returns to action on Saturday, April 16 as the Blue Jays host the Ursinus Bears. The Centennial Conference match is slated for a 12:00 pm start.
