Baltimore, MD - Johns Hopkins graduate standout
Annie Gutierrez continued her prolific Blue Jay career this past weekend, adding another Centennial Conference Athlete of the Week award to her gaudy total.Â
Gutierrez broke her own school record in the 100-meter hurdles, inching past her previous best mark of 14.59 with a new PR of 14.57. Gutierrez qualified for the event with a time of 14.67 before placing second in the event with the record-breaking mark. A multi-time All-American, Gutierrez currently sits in ninth nationally in the 100 hurdles. She's also currently in the top-20 in the pole vault and the long jump.Â
Johns Hopkins will travel to Fairfax, VA on Saturday to compete in the Mason Spring Invitational.Â
