th-ranked Johns Hopkins women's tennis team won its second match in as many days by shutout. Hopkins beat visiting Washington College, 9-0, Saturday afternoon in Centennial Conference action.

How it Happened
• Hopkins swept the doubles matches to take an early 3-0 lead in the match. The Blue Jays then swept the singles matches in straight sets to complete the shutout.

Aya Igaki-Meader beat Alisha White and M.C. Diaz-Nazario, 8-4, at first. Juniors

Celina Liu earned an 8-6 win over Irene Meng and Piper Sartison at second. And at third, freshman

Christina Huynh beat Bin Nguyen and Katie Ruppert without dropping a game.
• Devireddy won a hard-fought 7-6 (3), 7-5 match over Meng at first in a meeting of regionally ranked opponents. Igaki-Meader beat White 7-5, 6-2 at second. Huynh lost just four games in her win over Sartison at third 6-2, 6-2.
