LANCASTER, PA – After earning a 12
th consecutive Centennial Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championship, the Johns Hopkins Blue Jays racked up honors as the All-Conference teams were announced today.
Freshman sprinter
Lauren Phillips was named Centennial Outstanding Track Performer and Centennial Outstanding Rookie for her efforts at the championships. Sophomore standout
Victoria Kadiri earned Outstanding Field Performer at the Outdoor event for the second consecutive season.
Phillips, the Centennial Indoor Outstanding Rookie recipient, took it to an even higher plane. Phillips won the 200 and 400-meter dashes while also earning a gold medal as a member of the 4x100 relay team. Phillips is currently just inside the NCAA qualifying line for the 400 with a time of 56.46 that she ran at the Hopkins/Loyola Invitational.
Kadiri, a Lynn, MA native, has already racked up nine Centennial gold medals in just three conference championships. She picked up the Outstanding Field honor while winning the long jump and the triple jump while picking up gold in the 100 and as a member of the 4x100 relay team.
10 different Blue Jays earned first team All-Centennial honors. Kadiri (100, 4x100, long jump, triple jump) led the way with four appearances on the list while Phillips (200, 400, 4x100) and
Annie Gutierrez (100 Hurdles, 4x100, Pole Vault) racked up three golds.

Anna Zaeske (4x400),
Harrinee Senthilkumar (4x400),
Dana Andrews (4x400),
Ashley Tyburski (4x400) and
Julia Zambo (Hammer Throw) all earned spots on the first team.
Hopkins took up six spots on the second team with Gutierrez (high jump, long jump) and
Taryn Silvernale (pole vault, heptathlon) taking up two spots while
Bridgid Selfors (5000) and
Cherease Lamm (triple jump) were named to the second team as well.
Finally, Tyburski (400), Andrews (400 hurdles), Senthilkumar (800) and
Miayunique South (pole vault) were honorable mention selections while senior Lina Spjut was named to the Sportsmanship Team.
