Kincaid To Be Inducted into Salisbury Athletic Hall of Fame

SALISBURY, MD – Johns Hopkins men's tennis coach Brendan Kincaid will be inducted into the Salisbury University Athletic Hall of Fame on Friday, October 27. Kincaid is a 2008 graduate of Salisbury with a degree in history.
 
Kincaid ruled the tennis courts at Salisbury to the tun of 100 combined wins across singles and doubles. He earned Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-America honors in 2008 in singles and was named the ITA South Senior Player of the Year. Kincaid was a five-time Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) honoree, including First Team All-CAC honors in singles and doubles in 2008. He was also named the CAC Rookie of the Year in 2005. He was ranked as high as 20th in the nation in singles and 17th in doubles in his career.
 
Kincaid was also a placekicker on the Sea Gull football team and converted 14 field goals in his career. He helped Salisbury to the NCAA Tournament in 2007 as well as a win in the 2006 Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) South Atlantic Bowl championship and
 
Kincaid came to Johns Hopkins in the summer of 2021 after successful stints at Haverford College and Goucher College. He has coached the Blue Jays to a 38-7 record with a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances and the 2022 Centennial Conference Championship. The Blue Jays have earned nine All-CC honors and five ITA All-America honors during his tenure.
