BALTIMORE, MD – The Johns Hopkins women's fencing team won all four its matches and a pair of Blue Jays hit the 100-win milestone Sunday at the JHU Invitational.
Hopkins opened the day with a 22-5 win over Haverford. Senior

Rosy Cepero won three bouts each to lead the Foil squad to an 8-1 win. Sophomore
Ameera Ebrahim and junior
Maya Zhang did the same for the Epee squad, which won 7-2. Freshman
Josephine Chang also went unbeaten to lead the Sabre squad to a 7-2 win.
The Blue Jays then defeated the Lafayette Leopards, 23-4. Freshman
Bethany Lee won each of her three bouts as the Foil squad earned a 9-0 win.
Maya Zhang again went 3-0 to lead the Epee squad to a 6-3 win. Chang went 3-0 to lead Sabre squad to an 8-1 win.
JHU followed that with a 23-4 win over William & Mary. Lee and Cepero won a combined six bouts and the Foil squad won 9-0. Senior

Mickey Zhang won two bouts each as the Epee squad won 5-4. Chang, freshman
Adelaide Benoit and junior
Jenny Song combined for nine wins for the Sabre squad.
Hopkins closed out the day with a 27-0 win over Navy. McDonald and senior
Delphine Tan earned three wins each as the Foil squad won 9-0. Junior
Diya Kulkarni and senior
Zoe Readi-Brown did the same in a 9-0 win for the Foil squad. For the second straight match, it was Chang, Benoit and Song combining for nine wins in the Sabre.
Hopkins returns to action on Sunday, February 19 at the EWFC Championships in Poughkeepsie, NY.
