- Meet: Centennial Conference Championships (Day 2)

LANCASTER, PA-The Johns Hopkins men's track and field team clinched their 10th consecutive Centennial Conference Championship on Sunday afternoon in Lancaster. The Blue Jays came away with 192.5 points to take the title by 14.5 points over Ursinus who came in second place.
3000-Meter Performance Turns the Tide
- Johns Hopkins was able to storm into the lead in the standings by taking 34 of the possible 39 points in the 3000. Daniel Chen earned himself a gold medal in the event with a time of 8:27.29, which is a top 10 performance in team history and his second gold medal in his career. Chen is just the second Blue Jay to ever earn gold in the event.
- Bryce Thalheimer and Gavin McElhennon came in behind him to earn silver and bronze medals respectively. Thalheimer ran a 8:29.77 while McElhennon finished with a 8:30.84.
Elmogi and Reilly Win the Gold
- Sophomore Ahmed Elmogi earned a huge 10 points for JHU in the 200. Elmogi came out on top of the field with a time of 22.23 to take the gold medal. Elmogi is the third Blue Jay to ever win the gold medal in the 200 and his performance is top three all-time in program history.
- James Reilly picked up his second career gold medal with his performance in the Heptathlon. He totaled 4198 points and Johns Hopkins now has had nine of the 10 gold medalists in the Heptathlon at the Centennial Championships.
Other Notable Performances
- Wech Ring received a silver medal in the high jump with a mark of 1.82m for his first career medal. That mark is Ring's PR in the event.
- Ethan Oluwole added his second silver medal of the weekend with his performance in the long jump as he came away with a PR of 6.52m. Those medals were the second and third he's earned in his career.
- Matthew Kleiman and Arthur Beyer came in second and third place respectively to earn medals in the mile run. Kleiman ran a 4:18.63 while Beyer clocked in at 4:19.14.
- The Blue Jays also had two medalists in the 60m dash, Conrad Say and Ahmed Elmogi. Say earned a silver medal with a 7.05 performance for his third career medal, and Elmogi came in behind him to earn a bronze in the event with a 7.11 time.
- Elmogi added to his medal total alongside Fisayo Omonije, Zach Martin and Kevin Sommer in the 4x400 relay. The team placed third with a time of 3:24.55 to earn a bronze medal. This was a top 10 time in school history in the event.
