BIRMINGHAM, AL -- The Johns Hopkins men's indoor track team closed the season with a 25th-place showing at the 2023 NCAA Division III Indoor Track Championships on Saturday. The Blue Jays finished with eight points and Hopkins was one of eight teams to tie for 25th place in the final team standings.
Junior
Gavin McElhennon was the only Blue Jay to compete on the final day. He placed 18th in in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 8:30.78; McElhennon had competed in the 5,000-meter on day one of the championships.
Johns Hopkins earned all eight of its team points in the Distance Medley Relay as they Blue Jays placed second in the even with a time of 9:48.43.
