th-ranked Chapman Sunday.
Juniors
James and
Thomas Yu picked up the first point of the match with an 8-3 win over Caleb Wilkins and Mac Caldwell at first doubles. Graduate students
George Jiang and
Joe DeMarco then beat Josh Blinder and Ben Jorgensen 8-4 at second. Graduate students
Mason Liu and
Jonathan Zhang then wrapped up doubles play with an 8-3 defeat of Danny Marsh and Julien Sansevine at third.
Sophomore
Marco Azar pushed the Blue Jays' lead to 4-0 when he beat Cal Hegstrom 6-3, 6-3 at sixth singles.
Thomas Yu then clinched the win with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Wilkins at first. With the match decided, the remaining singles matches were halted.
