Falterer Selected to NFHCA Senior Team

MANAHAWKIN, NJ – Johns Hopkins senior Liz Falterer has been selected for the 2024 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Senior Team. This is the sixth straight year that Hopkins has had a player named to the NFHCA Senior Team.  
 
The NFHCA recognized 60 student-athletes from 46 NCAA Division III institutions for their accomplishments and impact on and off the field during their careers.
 
Falterer led Johns Hopkins to a record of 81-11, four Centennial Conference titles, four NCAA Quarterfinals and three national title game appearances. The 81 wins are tied for the most of any four-year period in program history. Falterer earned First Team All-Centennial Conference honors for the second straight year and anchored a defense that led the Centennial and ranks 11th in the nation in goals against average (0.81).
 
Falterer led the team with three defensive saves and had seven for her career. She scored four goals and handed out three assists this season to finish her career with 17 goals and nine assists for 43 points. Falterer holds the program record with 92 career games played. She also started in 74 games, which is tied for ninth in JHU history.
