Johns Hopkins Picked To Finish Second in the Centennial Conference

LANCASTER, PA – The Johns Hopkins men's tennis team has been picked to finish second in the Centennial Conference. The Blue Jays garnered three first-place votes and totaled 59 points in a preseason vote of the conference's coaches.
 
Defending champion Swarthmore picked up six first-place votes and 62 to points to edge the Blue Jays for the top spot by three points. Haverford came in third place in the poll with 47 points, followed by Washington College (39) and Franklin & Marshall (37).  
 
Hopkins, which has won a conference record 16 Centennial Conference titles, went 19-5 last season and advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16.
 
The Blue Jays are set to open the season on Saturday, February 17 at Franklin & Marshall (11 am) and Muhlenberg (4 pm).
