LANCASTER, PA – The Johns Hopkins women's outdoor track & field team was picked to win the program's 14
th straight Centennial Conference Championship, as released by the conference this morning. The Blue Jays received all nine possible first-place votes, with Hopkins' vote going to last year's runner-up in Dickinson.
Following an indoor season that saw the Blue Jays claim their 13
th straight Centennial title and their highest finish at the NCAA Championships in program history — a third-place finish with 33 points — Hopkins is the favorite to sweep the conference's track & field championships for the 13
th year in a row.
The Blue Jays finished atop the preseason poll with 81 points, with Dickinson (73) and Swarthmore (63) rounding out the top three. Below is the complete preseason poll:
