Ten Blue Jays Headed to NCAA Swimming Championships

BALTIMORE, MD – The Johns Hopkins men's swimming team is sending 10 swimmers to the 2024 NCAA Championships next week in Greensboro, NC. Graduate student Brandon Stride earned his fifth selection to the championships, while senior Kellen Roddy earned his fourth.
 
Hopkins has participated in every NCAA Division III Championship since its inception in 1975. The Blue Jays have placed in the top-five 31 times, including three NCAA Championships (1977, 1978, 1979). The Blue Jays finished in fourth place at last year's championship with 217 points. Thirteen Blue Jays combined to earn 35 All-America honors, led by Kyle Wu and Avery Clapp, who earned seven All-America honors each. In addition, Kellen Roddy won his second straight national title in the 1650 Free.
 
The NCAA Championships will take place at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, NC. The championships will begin on Wednesday, March 20 at 10:00 am with the prelims of the 500 Free. Finals are set to begin at 6:00 pm. For more information on the championships, click here.
