Sophia Kim has been named the Centennial Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week. This is her second conference player of the week honor and the fourth for Johns Hopkins this season.
Kim helped Hopkins to an 8-1 win over 23
rd-ranked Swarthmore Saturday afternoon. She paired with
Jay Xiao for an 8-4 win at number one doubles and later clinched the victory for the Blue Jays with a 6-3, 6-2 win at number two singles.
Kim is 8-4 in singles and 12-7 in doubles so far this season. Her 12 doubles' wins are tied for most on the team.
Hopkins is back in action this afternoon at Dickinson. The Centennial Conference contest is scheduled for a 4:00 pm start.
