ROSEMONT, IL – The Johns Hopkins men's lacrosse team had a league-high and school-record 38 players earn Academic All-Big Ten honors for the 2024 season as the league announced honorees in spring and at-large sports this week.  The 38 selections broke the previous program record of 35 Academic All-Big Ten honorees in 2022 and this is the third consecutive year that the Blue Jays have had 30 or more players honored.

A total of 181 players from the six schools that sponsor men's lacrosse in the Big Ten were named to the Academic All-Big Ten Team.  In all, a total of 2,271 student-athletes competing in spring and at-large sports league-wide were honored.

To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, students must have been enrolled full time at the institution for a minimum of 12 months and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.  The 38 selections this year boost Johns Hopkins all-time total of Academic All-Big Ten selections to 199 since joining the league in 2015.
