LANDOVER, MD – The Johns Hopkins men's indoor track team jumped back into action on Saturday at the Catholic Invitational and the Blue Jays responded by winning a pair of events while grabbing more than 15 top-10 finishes in their competition since December 7.

Sophomore
Oluwademilade Adeniran was the Blue Jays' lone individual winner on the day as he won the triple jump with a leap of 13.24-meters. Adeniran nailed his winning jump on his second jump and edged the runner-up by just under six inches.

In a field of 16 entries, the Blue Jays' 4x400-relay team crossed first in a time of 3:28.58 to edge Division I Mount St. Mary's, which placed second with a time of 3:29.23.

In addition to Hopkins' two first-place showings, other Blue Jay highlights included:

Alex Colletti's third-place finish in a field of 75 entries in the 60-meter dash (7.02).
• Sophomore
Spencer Ye's fourth-place showing in a field of 66 entries in the 200-meter dash (23.15).
• Fourth (
Peter Lim / 4.10-meters) and fifth (
Seth Wyzykowski / 3.95-meters) finishes in the Pole Vault. This was the only event that saw two Blue Jays place in the top five.
• Freshman
Dane Spahr's fifth-place finish in the 3000 (8:59.34), sophomore
Sebastian Tangelson's fifth-place showing in the Long Jump (6.22-meters) and junior
Wech Ring's fifth-place finish in the High Jump (1.80-meters).

Ring added an eighth-place finish in the Triple Jump to join Adeniran (9
th / Long Jump) as the only two Blue Jays with a pair of top-10 finishes on the day.

Johns Hopkins will return to action on January 24-25 when the Blue Jays head to New York to participate in the Dr. Sander Invitational.
