Kadin Khalloufi, Jacob Pomykata and
Connor Powell along with junior
Freddy Pimental have been named captains for the upcoming 2025-26 season. This is the first selection as a captain for each of the four.

Khalloufi (174) is coming off the best season of his career as he posted a 14-4 record as a junior. Among his 14 wins were 11 bonus-point victories as he had five pins, four technical falls and two major decisions to his credit. A neuroscience major with a minor in computer science, Khalloufi carries a 3.96 cumulative GPA, has twice been named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll and was an NWCA Scholar All-American last season.

Pomykata is entering his fourth season as the Blue Jay starter at 285. He sports a 40-42 career record and was 16-16 last season with a team-high 10 pins to his credit. In all, 22 of his 40 career wins have earned bonus points, highlighted by 17 career wins by fall. Pomykata is majoring in neuroscience, has a 3.71 cumulative grade point average and has also twice been named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll.

A romance languages major, Powell returns for his final season as the Blue Jays' most experience wrestler as he is just four matches shy of 100 for his career. Powell finished 19-16 last season to run his career record to 57-39. Among active members of the team, he is tied for the career lead in pins (17), ranks first in major decisions (10) and second in technical falls (9).

Pimental led the team in wins last season with 29 as he posted a 29-13 record that included nine pins, six technical falls and six wins by major decision. He enters his junior season with a career record of 49-27 and counts 17 pins, 10 technical falls and nine major decisions to his credit. Pimental carries a 3.98 cumulative grade point average as a molecular and cellular biology major and was an NWCA Scholar All-American as a sophomore.

Johns Hopkins will open the 2025-26 season on Saturday, November 1 at the Messiah Invitational.
