LANCASTER, PA – Following its 12
th consecutive Centennial Conference Indoor Title in 2024-25, the Johns Hopkins Men's Indoor Track & Field program has been selected as the preseason favorite to win the conference crown. The Blue Jays received seven of the eight possible first-place votes in the preseason poll, as announced by the league on Thursday.
Winners of the last 12 conference titles, Hopkins is aiming to continue its dominance in the conference and capture its 13
th straight crown.
Leading the way for the Blue Jays is senior standout
Emmanuel Leblond, the reigning USTFCCCA Mid-Atlantic and Centennial Conference Track Athlete of the Year, national runner up in last year's 5K and three-time All-American. Leblond is joined by a strong core of returners, including two of last year's national championship winning DMR squad – All-Americans,
Alex Colletti and
Fisayo Omonije – along with All-American Triple Jumper
Oluwademilade Adeniran. The veteran core will be bolstered by a talented incoming freshman class.
After earning its highest finish in program history at the 2025 NCAA Championships (8
th), Hopkins sets its sights on becoming the only program in Centennial Conference history to win 13 straight titles. Head coach
Bobby Van Allen and the Blue Jays will open the 2025-26 season on Saturday, December 6 at Navy's Indoor Invitational.
