Dylan Blenkiron and
Chakor Rajendra have been selected for the 2025 NCAA Tennis Championships it was announced last night. Ardila and Blenkiron will compete in the doubles championship and Rajendra in the singles championship.
The individual championships consist of 32 singles players and 16 doubles teams. The selection of teams and individuals for the championships is based on won-lost record, strength of schedule and eligibility and availability of student-athletes. The team championship will take place May 20-23, with the individual championships following May 24-27. The Biszantz Family Tennis Center in Claremont, CA will host both championships.
Ardila and Blenkiron are the 11
th different doubles team to earn a bid to the NCAA Championships. The duo is 13-10 on the season and currently ranked eighth in the nation. Ardila boasts 72 career doubles wins and ranks sixth in Johns Hopkins history. Blenkiron counts 20 doubles wins overall this season, tied for fourth most by a freshman in program history.
Rajendra is 18-14 this season in singles and is ranked 29
th in the nation. Just two seasons into his career, he has 37 singles wins and needs one to move into a tie for 24
th in school history.
