GREENWOOD, IN – Johns Hopkins recent graduate
Alan Zheng has been named a First Team College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-American for the second straight year. This is his third career Academic All-America honor after earning third team accolades in 2023.
Zheng is the second Johns Hopkins men's fencer to earn Academic All-America honors three times. In addition, he is the ninth Johns Hopkins athlete to do so. Zheng is one of three Division III fencers to earn Academic All-America honors and one of four across all three divisions.
Johns Hopkins has now produced 10 CSC Academic All-Americans, with four of the 10 selections coming in the last three years.
