LANCASTER, PA – Johns Hopkins freshman
Kai Henrikson-Brandt has been named the Centennial Conference Rookie of the Year and is joined by 12 Blue Jays on the All-Centennial Conference Teams. In addition, head coach
Scott Armstrong and his staff were named Centennial Conference Coaching Staff of the Year. The Blue Jays combined to garner 39 All-Centennial Conference honors, including 20 first team selections.
Henrikson-Brandt was named the Most Outstanding Performer at the 2026 championships after winning the 100 and 200 Backand taking silver in the 100 Fly. He is the first freshman in conference history to sweep the Backstroke events. He set the championship record in both the 100 (47.70) and 200 Back (1:45.89), as well as the conference record in the 100 Back. Henrikson-Brandt owns the Johns Hopkins freshman record in the 100 Back and his time is the second fastest in school history. In addition, his time in the 200 Back is the seventh fastest in JHU history.
In its first season competing in the Centennial Conference, Armstrong led the Blue Jays to the title with 940.5 points. It is the second most points in conference championship history. JHU won 11 Centennial Conference titles, the 20
th time in program history that the Blue Jays won 10 or more. In addition, the 39 all-conference selections are tied for fourth most in school history. Hopkins set eight championship meet and six conference records.
Senior
Avery Clapp earned six All-Centennial Conference honors, including four first team selections. Graduate student
Larry Yu matched Clapp's six selections, including a conference-best five first team accolades. Freshman
Michael Ivanov was a five-time All-CC honoree, with three first team nods. Sophomores
Aden Li and
Josiah March were each named all-conference four times, including a pair of first team selections for each.

Alessandro Pereira earned three All-Centennial Conference honors, while senior
Matthew Hartshorn and sophomore
Ken Ning earned the honor twice. Also earning All-CC honors were senior
