NEW YORK, NY – The Johns Hopkins men's indoor track and field team was represented by
Sebastian Tangelson and
Seth Wyzykowski on the first day of the AARTFC Indoor Championships at The Armory on Friday, competing in the heptathlon and pole vault.
Tangelson sits in fourth place in the heptathlon with 2,691 points through the opening day of competition. His performance was highlighted by a first-place finish in the shot put with a personal-best throw of 12.81 meters.
Wyzykowski competed in the pole vault and finished 12
th overall after clearing 4.48 meters.
Johns Hopkins returns to competition on Saturday, March 7 for the final day of the AARTFC Indoor Championships, as well as the Tufts Final Qualifier.
