Biography

At Hopkins: Will start at third base after an injury-plauged junior season • Co-captain.

2004: Batted .375 in limited action due to a hamstring injury • named Centennial Conference Player of the Week on March 8 after batting .625 for the week • was 2-for-3 with a run batted in against Messiah • was 2-for-3 with a home run and two runs batted in against Westfield State.

2003: 2nd Team All-Centennial • 2nd Team All-Region • Played in 36 games making 32 starts • batted .361 and was fifth on the team with 39 hits • was second on the team with 11 stolen bases and tied for the team lead with three triples • also registered 28 runs scored, 11 doubles, five home runs and 27 runs batted in • hit .459 (17-for-37) with runners in scoring position • hit a three-run home run in a 15-12 win over No. 5 Wooster on March 13 • drilled a three-run home run against Washington on April 14 • went 3-for-4 with three runs and two solo home runs versus McDaniel on April 21 • was 4-for-4 with two runs, two doubles and five RBIs as JHU defeated Ursinus, 15-3 to clinch the top seed in the conference tournament • went 2-for-3 with a three-run double in a 14-4 win over Alvernia in the NCAA Regional Tournament.

2002: Played in eight games making four starts • batted .353 with six hits in 17 at-bats • totaled one double, one home run, five runs batted in and five runs scored • walked six times, while striking out just once • posted a .588 slugging percentage and a .522 on-base percentage • smacked a two-run home run for his first career hit in a 19-3 win against SUNY-Brockport on March 21 • went 2-for-3 with three runs scored and one RBI against Villa Julie on April 8 in a 14-5 win • was 2-for-3 with an RBI versus Gettysburg on April 24 • drove in one run and was 1-for-3 in JHU[apos]s 8-2 win over Neumann on April 29.

Personal: Also played football in high school •was all-conference performer for baseball and team captain for two years • two-time honorable mention all-state selection for football • member of state championship teams in football and baseball • plans to attend medical school after graduation • a psychology and pre-med major.
