The Short Story: Dan Albert blasted two home runs in game one and Carter Burns went the distance in game two to help lead Johns Hopkins to a doubleheader sweep of host Ursinus. Albert's homers came in an 8-2 Hopkins victory, while Burns' gem took place in a 4-1 win.
Five different pitchers threw in the game one win for the Jays. Preston Betz pitched the longest, logging 3.1 innings in his first appearance in 13 days. The freshman struck out four to earn his second win of the season. Albert led the offense with four RBIs, all coming on his home runs. Conor Reynolds and Raul Shah also had multi-hit games for Hopkins in the opener.
Burns allowed just four hits while striking out nine. It was the eighth career complete game for Burns, who became the first JHU pitcher throw all nine innings this season. Reynolds, Shah and Albert each had their second multi-hit game of the day in game two. Mike Smith also joined in with a pair of hits.
With four games left in the season, Hopkins is one win away from clinching a 15th consecutive Centennial Conference Tournament berth and two wins away from clinching the top seed and hosting rights for the tournament.

The Facts:
- Hopkins has now recorded double-digit hit totals in seven straight games and 12 of its last 13.
- Burns' nine strikeout performance in game two maked the first time a Blue Jays' pitcher struck out more than seven hitters this season.
- Albert's two home runs give him seven for the season. The junior has just one less than teammate and Centennial Conference leader Mitch Weaver.
- Josh Hejka made his 19th appearance of the season in game one. Last season's team leader, Ross Lazicky, had just 17.
- After striking out 19 times in a 12-inning game Tuesday, JHU struck out just six times in 18 innings Saturday.
