Game One Summary
- Johns Hopkins earned an early 4-0 lead in the first inning, with every Blue Jay in the lineup batting in the inning. Conor Reynolds hit a home run to left center field on the second pitch of the game before Haverford's Tom Phillips walked Brian Lin and Mike Smith. The two advanced a base on a passed ball and Mike Eberle hit a single to send Lin home. Daniel Albert sent up a sacrifice fly to score Smith. Joe Conlon was hit by a pitch to put two on for Hopkins once again, and Jon Hayden singled to center field to drive in Eberle, giving Hopkins a 4-0 lead.
- The Fords took the lead with five runs in the second and third innings, but lead did not last long at JHU tied the score 5-5 with a two-out Hayden home run straight over center field in the bottom of the third. The Blue Jays added a pair of runs in the fourth inning as Smith became the third Hopkins player with a homer. Lin reached on another walk, and Smith sent the ball just over the left field fence to increase JHU's lead to 7-5.
- Haverford's Matt Goss scored an unearned run in the top of the sixth to cut the Hopkins lead to 7-6. In the top of the sixth inning, Reynolds worked a leadoff walk and advanced to second on a wild pitch. Reynolds stole third before rounding home on a double by Smith. Eberle hit a ground-rule double with Smith and Orgielewicz on base, driving in Smith on the play. Albert grounded out, allowing Orgielewicz to score and giving Hopkins a 10-6 lead.
- Each team added a run in the seventh inning. Leadoff hitter Ethan Lee-Tyson was hit by a pitch before advancing to third on a pair of singles. Furlong sent up a sacrifice fly to drive in Lee-Tyson for Haverford's seventh run. In the bottom of the eighth, Reynolds hit a two-out homer for JHU's final run.

Game Two Summary
- The Fords earned the early lead in game two, recording as Will Karp hit a sacrifice bunt to bring in Sam Partee, who hit a leadoff single in the second inning. Spencer Sohmer hit a home run to left center as the first batter up in the fourth inning, extending the Fords' lead to 2-0. The Blue Jays got on the board in the second inning. Mike Smith hit a leadoff single and advanced to third on a double by Alex Darwiche. Mike Eberle sacrifice flied out to allow Smith to score, cutting the deficit to 2-1.
- Neither team could round home in the fifth or sixth innings, but both offenses went to work in the seventh inning. Ben Furlong hit a leadoff homer over the right field fence into University Parkway. Karp reached first on fielding error by Reynolds and crossed home plate on a double by Ethan Lee-Tyson, extending the Fords' lead to 4-1.
- After two ground outs, Tommy Mee kept the seventh inning alive for the Blue Jay with a single to center field. Tim Kutcher recorded his third hit of the day before Conor Reynolds loaded the bases on a walk. Brian Lin worked the walk, bringing Mee home and prompting Patrick O'Shea to take over at the mound for Haverford. Smith hit a two RBI single to right center to tie the game, 4-4.
- Harrison Folk took over for Alex Ross in the eighth inning, facing the minimum number of batters in the eighth inning and striking out two in the ninth. John Donohue recorded the final out for Hopkins with bases loaded. Lin was the first batter up for the Blue Jays in the bottom of the ninth inning and singled to left field. Smith followed him on base as he was hit by a pitch. Facing Dylan Livingston, Ryan Orgielewicz singled through the left side, driving in Lin for the walk-off, 5-4 win.
