? The Short Story: The Johns Hopkins women's fencing team won all four of its bouts on Sunday in the Blue Jay Invitational. The Sabre squad led the way for the Blue Jays, going an impressive 36-0 on the day.

How it Happened
? Hopkins opened the day with a 22-5 win over William & Mary as the Sabre (9-0) and Foil (9-0) squads went unbeaten. Junior Jaynie Criscione led the Epee squad (4-5) with a pair of wins. For the Sabre squad, sophomores Erin Chen, Natalie Martinez and Alicja Tomaszewski each went 3-0. Senior Elizabeth Konopacki and sophomore Katherine Xiang each went 3-0 to lead the Foil squad.
? The Blue Jays then beat the Mids of Navy by a 24-3 score. Criscione and sophomore Shivani Bisen went a combined 6-0 to lead the Epee squad to a 7-2 win. Martinez, Chen and freshman Rebecca Zhou combined to lead the Sabre squad to a 9-0 win. And it was freshman Brooke Stanicki leading the way for the Foil squad (8-1) with a 3-0 mark.
? In its closest match of the day, Hopkins beat Drew 18-9 with the Sabre (9-0) and Foil (5-4) squads earning wins. Freshman Shaina Morris won all three of her bouts as the Epee squad lost a tough 5-4 decision. Tomaszewski, Chen and Zhou combined for nine wins for the Sabre squad. Stanicki again led the Foil squad to a one-point win as she won all three of her bouts.
? Hopkins wrapped up the day with a 22-5 win over TCNJ and a sweep of all three weapons. Morris won all three of her bouts to lead the Epee squad (6-3). Morris turned in another 3-0 performance to lead the Epee squad to a 6-3 win. The Sabre squad ended their undefeated day with Tomaszewski, Martinez and Zhou each going 3-0. Xiang and junior Rebecca Rosenthal turned the same trick to lead the Foil squad to a 7-2 win.
