SAINT PAUL, MN - The Johns Hopkins baseball team will have to wait an extra 24 hours to play its NCAA Regional opener as a day-long rain has postponed the start of the tournament for one day. Temperatures in the mid 40s and a 100% chance of rain through early evening in Saint Paul forced the postponement.
The schedule for Friday, May 28 will be the same as the original schedule for Thursday, May 27:
11 am (CT) - Johns Hopkins vs. Trinity (TX)
2:30 pm (CT) - Saint Mary's (MN) vs. Aurora (IL)
6 pm (CT) - Northwestern-St. Paul vs. Misericordia (PA)
Results from Friday's games will determine the schedule for Saturday, May 29. Johns Hopkins will play at either 11 am or 2:30 pm on Saturday.
All games in the tournament will be available to watch online and live stats will be provided as well. Blue Jay fans can also follow on twitter (@jhubaseball).
