The Short Story: The Johns Hopkins women's fencing team debuted its new number one ranking by winning all four of its matches Sunday. In addition, the Sabre, Foil and Epee squads all went undefeated on the day.

How it Happened
Hopkins opened the day with a 23-4 win over Rutgers, led by the Foil squad, which went 9-0. The Blue Jays then faced off against the Fords of Haverford and earned a 22-5 win. The Epee squad went 8-1 in the round to lead JHU.
Hopkins then cruised to a 26-1 win over Rowan as both the Sabre and Epees squads were unbeaten. JHU wrapped up the day with a 24-3 win over Navy. The Foil squad led the Blue Jays with a 9-0 showing over the Mids.
