BALTIMORE, MD – Johns Hopkins junior Anjali Devireddy has been named the Centennial Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Year for the second consecutive season. Head coach Dan Pollock was named the CC Coach of the Year and the Blue Jays garnered six all-conference honors.
 
In addition to earning player of the year honors, Devireddy was named First Team All-Centennial for singles and doubles. Freshman Aya Igaki-Meader earned First Team All-CC honors for doubles. Junior Christina Huynh earned second team honors for singles and seniors Jessica Liang and Amanda Ruci earned honorable mention honors for singles. Junior Emily Javedan was named to the All-Sportsmanship Team.
 
In his first season at the helm, Pollock led Johns Hopkins to its 15^th consecutive undefeated conference slate. The Blue Jays then won its 15^th CC title with a 5-2 win over 27^th-ranked Swarthmore. JHU is 12-6 on the season and will open NCAA Tournament play on Friday. 
 
Devireddy is the sixth player in conference history to repeat as player of the year. Hopkins has now produced the Centennial Conference Player of the Year in each of the last four seasons and seven since 1997. JHU has also produced 42 All-Centennial doubles selections and 58 singles selections. Pollock's coach of the year selection is the fifth for the Blue Jays and first since 2018.
 
Devireddy is 10-8 in singles, including 5-0 in conference play this season. She is 11-6 overall in doubles, including 4-2 when paired with Igaki-Meader. Devireddy counts 17 singles wins and 22 doubles wins in her career. Igaki-Meader is the 12^th freshman in program history to earn First Team All-Centennial Conference honors and just the sixth to do so in doubles. Igaki-Meader is 9-6 overall in doubles, including 5-2 in conference matches this season.
 
Huynh earns all-conference honors for the first time in her career after going 10-7 in singles, including 6-0 in Centennial matches. Liang is 6-10 overall in singles and went 4-1 in conference matches this season. She is the Blue Jays' active leader with 26 career singles wins. Ruci boasts a 9-6 record, with a 5-1 mark in conference, this season. She clinched Hopkins' wins over Swarthmore in the regular season finale and Washington College in the Centennial Conference semifinals. Javedan is 5-4 in singles and 12-4 in doubles this season.
