BALTIMORE, MD – The Johns Hopkins women's tennis team placed four players on the 2023 College Sports Communicators (CSC) (formerly CoSIDA) Academic All-District® Team it has been announced by the organization. Academic All‐District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All‐America ballot. First, Second and Third Team Academic All‐America honorees will be announced on June 1.
To be eligible for CCS Academic All-District honors, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA, be a sophomore or above and a starter or significant reserve.
Including the four selections this season, the Johns Hopkins women's tennis program has now produced 17 Academic All-District selections since 2003. This is the first year that CSC is producing Men's and Women's Tennis Academic All-District and All-America Teams. Tennis had been previously included in the organization's At-Large category.
