BALTIMORE, MD – Johns Hopkins placed six Blue Jays on the 2024 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women's At-Large Team. The six student-athletes represent three sports – fencing, field hockey and lacrosse.
First, Second and Third Team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on Tuesday, July 16. Sports included in the Women's At-Large category include beach volleyball, bowling, fencing, field hockey, golf, gymnastics, lacrosse, rifle, rowing, skiing and water polo. Nominees must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA and be a starter or significant reserve.
Earning CSC Academic All-District honors are
Jennifer Barry (women's lacrosse),
Jordan Carr (women's lacrosse),
Diya Kulkarni (fencing),
Alexis Loder (field hockey),
Mikayla Schoff (field hockey) and
Siena Urbanski (field hockey).
The Blue Jay field hockey program has now produced nine CSC Academic All-District selections, including seven in the last three seasons. Kulkarni is the fourth women's fencer to earn the honor, with all four selections coming since 2019. Barry and Carr are the fifth and sixth JHU women's lacrosse players to earn Academic All-District accolades with four of the six selections coming in the last two season.
