Aubrey Kilgore has been named the Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the first time in her career. She is the first Blue Jay this season to earn a player of the week honor from the conference.
Kilgore backstopped Johns Hopkins to a pair of shutouts over ranked opponents last week. She made three saves in three quarters of Hopkins' 3-0 win over undefeated and 14th-ranked Dickinson. The Red Devils entered the game averaging 2.8 goals per game. Kilgore then made two saves in three quarters of a 2-0 win at 23rd-ranked Ursinus on Saturday afternoon.
Kilgore has started every game for the Blue Jays and played more than 443 minutes in the cage. She sports a 1.22 goals against average and an .833 save percentage.
