NEW ORLEANS – Following a fifth-place finish at the 2024 NCAA Championship, the Johns Hopkins Women's Cross Country Program enters the 2025 season ranked No. 5 in the US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Preseason Poll, released Wednesday. The No. 5 ranking is the highest preseason mark since 2022, when the Blue Jays were ranked third to begin the season.
Defending national champion MIT tops the poll after receiving all 10 first-place votes. Williams, which finished third last year at the NCAA Championships, sits second, followed by 2024 national runner-up Chicago. NYU rounds out the top four.
