LANCASTER, PA – Johns Hopkins sophomore
Connor Wilkes has been named the Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the first time in his career.
Wilkes scored twice to lead Johns Hopkins to a 1-0-1 week with a win over McDaniel and a tie at Gettysburg. He scored the game-winner on a penalty kick against the Green Terror for his first goal of the season on Wednesday night. He then scored the game-tying goal in the 62
nd minute against the Bullets.
Wilkes leads the Blue Jays with nine points and five assists in nine games. He is also tied for second with two goals.
Hopkins returns to action on Wednesday, October 7 as the Blue Jays step out of conference play to visit Salisbury. Game time is set for 4:00 pm at Gerry DiBartolo Sea Gull Soccer Complex.
