BALTIMORE, MD – The Johns Hopkins women's track and field team will send 11 student-athletes to the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships, scheduled for March 13-14 at the Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Alabama, the association announced.

Chloe Zhang will represent the Blue Jays across 10 events during the two-day national championship meet.
Competition begins Friday with Ouimet opening the pentathlon in the 60-meter hurdles. The Centennial Conference long jump champion will compete across five events while aiming to become Johns Hopkins' first NCAA pentathlon national champion and the program's third All-American in the event.
Also, in action in the field will be Ezumba, the reigning Centennial Conference Field Athlete of the Year. Ezumba holds both the Centennial Conference and Johns Hopkins records in the weight throw and enters the championship with the second-best mark in the nation this season and the eighth-best in Division III history. She will compete in both the weight throw and shot put while seeking her first career national podium finish.
The Blue Jays will be busy on the track Friday afternoon, with Klimov (60), Wedemeyer (800), Kothari (mile) and Setton (mile) all competing in preliminary races beginning at approximately 2:00 p.m. The top eight finishers in the 60-meter and 800-meter preliminaries will advance to Saturday's finals, while the top 12 in the mile will move on to the championship race.
Later in the evening, Brotherton, Catalano and Kotler will compete in the 5,000 meters. Catalano, the Centennial Conference Track Athlete of the Year, enters the meet with the second-fastest time in Division III this season.
Friday's competition will conclude with the distance medley relay, where the Hopkins quartet of Kothari, Wedemeyer, Setton and Catalano will look to contend for a national title.
Saturday's events begin at 5:35 p.m. with Catalano and Kotler competing in the 3,000 meters. Kotler, the reigning Centennial Conference champion in the event, enters her first national championship poised to compete for a podium finish.
