Seven Blue Jays Earn All-Conference Recognition

Two Named to First Team, Four to Second Team

LANCASTER, PA – The Johns Hopkins baseball program earned major accolades this week, as seven student-athletes garnered Centennial Conference honors, the league announced Thursday. The six All-Conference selections mark the first under first-year head coach Nate Mulberg and bring the program's all-time total to 194.

Dylan Zucker and William Jaun were named to the All-Centennial First Team, while Jacob Harris, Alex Shane, Lukas Geer and Keiffer Ary earned Second Team recognition. In addition, William Moell was selected to the All-Sportsmanship Team.

In his first season in a Hopkins uniform, Zucker made an immediate impact as the Blue Jays' closer, earning First Team honors. Across 17 appearances, the graduate student owns a team-best and bullpen-low 1.37 ERA over 26.1 innings, posting a 1-1 record with eight saves while limiting opponents to a .200 batting average. He has allowed just four earned runs and struck out 24. His eight saves are tied for the most in a single season in program history and currently lead the conference.

Jaun, also in his first year as a graduate transfer, secured the starting role at first base and delivered a breakout campaign en route to First Team recognition. Starting all 42 games, he is the only Blue Jay batting .400 or better this season, slashing .401/.484/.678. He leads the team with 61 hits, ranks second with 63 RBIs and has added 12 doubles and 10 home runs. Earlier this season, Jaun earned Centennial Conference Player of the Week and D3Baseball.com Team of the Week honors after going 11-for-19 (.579) with 16 RBIs, 11 runs and three home runs during a four-game stretch that included wins over then-15th-ranked Gettysburg and a doubleheader sweep of Muhlenberg. He currently ranks third in the conference and 10th nationally in RBIs.

Harris earned Second Team honors, the first All-Conference recognition of his career, following an outstanding season. The senior is hitting .357/.472/.686 with 50 hits, 48 RBIs and a team-leading 13 home runs, while also swiping 13 bases. He ranks second in the conference in home runs and is among the toughest hitters to strike out, ranking second in the conference and 23rd nationally. Harris was named conference Player of the Week earlier this season after going 9-for-16 (.563) with four home runs—including two grand slams—and 12 RBIs over a four-game span. He has also earned D3Baseball.com Team of the Week honors twice, once as a second baseman and once as an outfielder.

A three-time First Team All-Conference selection, Shane earned Second Team honors this season after another strong senior campaign. The outfielder started all 42 games and posted a .391/.495/.622 slash line. He shares the team lead with 61 hits, leads the team with 16 doubles—ranking second in the conference—and has drawn 32 walks. Earlier this year, Shane became the eighth player in program history to reach 200 career hits and, in the regular-season finale against Ursinus, set the program record for career doubles with 55.

Geer also collected Second Team honors, marking the first All-Conference selection of his career. The senior left fielder hit .361/.487/.681 over 41 games, totaling 52 hits while leading the team with 65 RBIs and 61 runs scored. He added 13 doubles, 11 home runs and 31 walks. Geer leads the conference and ranks seventh nationally in RBIs, while ranking second in the conference and sixth nationally in runs scored. He earned D3Baseball.com Team of the Week honors earlier this season after a 7-for-13 (.538) stretch with a 2.052 OPS in which he totaled 11 RBIs, nine runs, three home runs, two doubles and six walks.

Ary rounded out the All-Conference selections with Second Team honors, the first of his career. After beginning the season as the team's backup catcher, he became a key contributor as the designated hitter. In conference play, Ary hit .420/.531/.720 with a 1.269 OPS over 15 games, collecting 21 of his 30 total hits, 18 of his 25 RBIs and four of his six home runs.

Hopkins, the Centennial Conference's automatic qualifier, will now await its postseason opponent, with the NCAA Division III Baseball Tournament Selection Show scheduled for Monday, May 11 at noon ET.
