Sophia Kim has been named the Centennial Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week. She is the third Blue Jay this season to earn player of the week honors.
Kim went 2-0 at number one doubles and 1-1 at number three singles in a 1-1 week for the Blue Jays. She paired with
Jay Xiao to win 8-7 (5) in doubles versus No. 20 Tufts. She then won 6-3, 6-3 in singles as the Blue Jays beat the 20th-ranked Jumbos, 7-2. Kim and Xiao then beat Emory's fifth-ranked doubles pair, 8-3, at number one. Kim dropped a three-setter at number three singles to the 31st-ranked singles player in a 7-2 loss to the seventh-ranked Eagles.
Hopkins returns to action on Saturday, March 30 at Towson. The non-conference contest is slated for a 1:00 pm.
