Weil was the first and only coach in program history prior to his parting from Hopkins following the 2019 season. He concluded his 28-year-career with a record of 410-121-43 (.752). He was one of just nine coaches in Division III women's soccer history with more than 400 wins at the time of his departure and he also guided the Blue Jays to 14 Centennial Conference titles and 18 appearances in the NCAA Tournament. Weil coached 15 All-Americans, nine Centennial Conference Players of the Year and 67 of his players earned all-region honors. In addition, 13 Johns Hopkins women's soccer players earned CoSIDA Academic All-America honors; Johns Hopkins is tied for eighth among all women's soccer programs and tied for second among Division III programs in all-time Academic All-Americans.
