One of the all-time greatest fencers in Hopkins' storied history, Andy Goldberg compiled a staggering 218-49 (.816) overall record and ranks as one of JHU's finest performers in the foil. Goldberg qualified for the NCAA Championships in each of his last three seasons, during which he compiled a record of 190-35 (.844).

Goldberg helped lead Johns Hopkins to three Middle Atlantic Collegiate Fencing Association (MACFA) Championships and was the individual MACFA Champion in the foil as a sophomore, junior and senior. He posted a 56-10 record as a sophomore, when he placed 23rd at the NCAA Championships and helped JHU to a 24th-place team finish. A year later, he improved his record to 61-10 and placed 28th at the NCAAs en route to JHU's 29th-place team finish.

Goldberg closed his career on a high note as he posted a 73-15 record and placed a personal-best 14th at the NCAA Championships as a senior. His effort helped Hopkins to an 18th-place team finish.
